Did you nominate your Outstanding community members? It's not too late! Deadlines are tight and must be strictly followed in order to complete this process as smoothly as possible! You only have 2 more weeks to get this done!

  • Women Who Impact (or WWI) Award was implemented in 2008. The purpose of this award is to recognize women who show excellence in leadership abilities, are involved in her local community, and posses the ability to initiate ideas and innovations for new and existing programs. In 2009, the name was changed to the "Lois M Christensen Women Who Impact Award" in order to honor our first state president.
  • Since 1994 MNWT has annually presented the Outstanding Person with Developmental Challenges (or OPDC) Award, which honors individuals who have overcome challenges and become productive, contributing members of the community.
  • The Outstanding Young Adult (or OYA) Award has been presented by the Minnesota Women of Today since 1974. It is a scholarship project designed to recognize young adults who show excellence in leadership abilities and involvement in community activities

MNWT Blog Scavenger Hunt

It's the Web Development Subcommittee's goal to get you looking at all of our online resources. So in that endeavor, we have been busy this year reinvesting in the MNWT Blog. A blog is a regular feature appearing as part of an online publication that typically relates to a particular topic and consists of articles and personal commentary by one or more authors. Thanks to Social Media Team Lead Jeny Ohr and Membership Vice President Anna Nichols, we have been regularly posting articles to the Blog this year focusing on our chapters and our officers; in second trimester, we will also be reintroducing the "What's Your Why" program. This scavenger hunt will introduce the MNWT Blog to you and get you used to interacting with this social media platform.
