The MNWT Exec Council comprises the leadership roles of the State Staff, the State Program Managers (SPM), and the District Directors (DD). The Exec Council meets prior to each state business meeting, and may take action on policies, make recommendations, and discuss items of importance to districts and local chapters.
The State Staff serves the same purpose as the local Chapter Board. Eligibility Requirements: according to the State By-Laws, to be eligible for a State Staff position, you must be a member in good standing for at least three (3) years; have been a local officer for at least one (1) year; have served on the State Executive Council for 1 year; and have the backing of your chapter.
The State Program Managers assist with disseminating information regarding the many programming areas our organization supports, and work closely with the district and local program managers (LPM). Eligibility Requirements: according to the State By-Laws, to become a State Program Manager, you must be a member in good standing for at least two (2) years; have served as a local program manager, and a district program manager or District Director a minimum of one (1) year each; have the backing of your chapter; and have an interest in the programming area.
The District Directors support the local chapters within their district board, and guide their chapters through challenges and successes. Eligibility Requirements: according to the State Bylaws, to become a District Director, you must be a member in good standing for at least two (2) years, you must have served as a local officer, and have the backing of your chapter. You must also adhere to your district's bylaws and policies for eligibility.
