Programming
Programming is what makes the Women of Today organization unique. Our organization promotes several different organizations each year – so the programming areas offer a way to organize all that we do. At the state level, Programming is directed by the Programming Vice President and each area is directed by a dedicated State Program Manager or SPM. Visit all of these officer pages for more information.
The state supported programming areas are:
- Community Connections
- Living & Learning
- Priority Area – REACH
- Women’s Wellness
- Youth of Today
Chapters may also organize Programming into these same areas and may also have additional areas. The chapter equivalent to a SPM is a local program manager, or LPM. These LPMs oversee a programming area by passing on information to the chapter from the SPM, organizing activities, and bringing ideas to support the area. LPMs are not responsible for all activity in their area and appreciate ideas for projects and members who volunteer to lead projects or host events.
For more information and to access tools your chapter can use to promote these areas, simply go to Programming Resources or Project Library. For more information or any general programming questions, please contact the Programming Vice President at pvp@mnwt.org.
