MNWT Events
Members of Minnesota Women of Today have fun, form long-lasting friendships, develop their personal and professional talents, and give back to their communities. Membership in Women of Today provides opportunities to develop friendships with people who share similar interests. It’s a great way to make friends in your community; you can also make friends across the state and the nation! See below for the official calendars and event registrations.
MNWT State Calendar | MNWT Exec Council Calendar
The calendar details events and deadlines for each month through the MNWT Year. There is a calendar for the general membership and one specific to Executive Council members.
Conventions
State Conventions are held three times per year. Conventions include an Executive Council meeting, a business meeting of the general membership, trainings and enrichment sessions, social activities and membership award celebrations. Each convention also has events specific to that convention such as a Programming Project Fair, Outstanding Awards Banquet, and annual elections.
Committee Meetings
MNWT Committees meet throughout the year. Meetings are open to all members.
Trainings
A number of training events are hosted by MNWT throughout the year. These include Local Officer Training Session (LOTS), President/State Delegate Retreat, webinars, and orientations.
District & Regional Meetings
Each district hosts a membership meeting each trimester for all chapter members in the district. These events include a business meeting, an enrichment activity and social time. Regional meetings are held once a year in the spring in each region. All members are welcome to attend and includes enrichment/training, a forum (speech and Q&A) with MNWT State President candidates, and a report from the current MNWT President.
Statewide Events
Throughout the year, other events may be held for members benefit. These may include sports outings, service projects, and development opportunities to name a few.
