The purpose of the foundation is to raise and distribute funds to help further the educational, training and fundraising projects of the organization. The Foundation is working for and supported by each local chapter. All donations to the Foundation are tax deducible.

Bequest for Tomorrow: Chair Jodie Johnson
This new subcommittee encourages you to remember the Minnesota Women of Today Foundation in your will. The process is as easy as the terminology that you put in writing. And you will be leaving a legacy to an organization that has given you so much.
What is a bequest? Anything you give or leave a charitable/non-profit organization from your estate through your will.
How do I make a bequest to the Minnesota Women of Today? Name the MNWT in your will by designating a specific amount, a percentage, or the remainder of your estate.
How should I phrase it? Following is simple language that you can share with your attorney to make sure your wishes are well known. "I hereby give and devise to the Minnesota Women of Today Foundation, a Minnesota non-profit organization, the sum of $ __________, or ______% of the residue of my estate, for its general, unrestricted purposes." Please consult your attorney for professional assistance.
Endowment Fund: Chair Julie Hammel
The Endowment Fund is a permanent fund consisting of 100 contributors. Membership is open to individuals, organizations, businesses and chapters. Openings include $100 and $300 giving levels. Participants have a three-year time period in which to pay the donation.
Chapter
Grants Program: Chair Jodie Meyer
This program was designed to give a chapter the funds needed to do that special project they would be unable to run without financial aid. Grant applicants must donate $25 to the Foundation to be eligible to apply for a grant. Grants applications are due postmarked December 1st and are presented at the Winter State meeting.
Corporate Grants
Does your employer offer grants to employees who volunteer regularly? Several do, and you are encouraged to find out whether your employer does so. Even if there is no established giving program at your company, it is possible that a tax-deductible donation will be given when you explain the philosophy and workings of the organization. These grants can be delegated as you (the recipient) wish. Corporate Foundations Many large employers have their own foundations, and are looking for worthy causes to donate money to. If you are aware of such an opportunity within your place of employment, assisting us with an application is an invaluable way to support the MNWT Foundation.
Tax-Deductible Personal Donations
If the Builder's Club is too structured for you, please remember that your personal donation is always welcome, regardless of the amount. These funds can be earmarked for a WT area that holds a special spot for you, such as training, technology, MNJOTS, chapter grants and much more.
